What happened from the host
Olympus Martial Arts' second MMA and K1 interclub, held in a cage. Ages 8+ and adults, all bouts matched on experience, everyone gets two bouts per bracket. K1 rules: 3×2min rounds; under 15 no head shots; 15–17 head shots with a head guard; 18+ no head protection required. 16oz gloves for head shots, 12oz fine for body shots and under-15s, Thai-style sparring shins. Competitors bring their own kit — gum shield, groin guard, head guard, shins and gloves. Qualified referee, first-aid trained staff and a photographer on site. Entries are capped and first come first served. Bracket times are staggered once final numbers are in, so no fixed start time — send name, age, weight and experience to the gym.
